R.PONS is an old lady, with more than 100 years of history.

  • 1913 : Mr René PONS buys the GARIN facilities founded in 1855.
  • 1919 : Transfer of the so Parisian R.PONS company to Fontaine (Aube).
  • 1943 : Mr. René PONS dies. Mss Dary PONS continues the activity.
  • 1954 : Equity investment of leading managers together with Mss Dary PONS.
  • 1973 : Mr. Roger DUMEZ buys the company.
  • 1979 : Buyback of BEAURAIN, a direct competitor.
  • 2003 : Patrick and François DUMEZ take the succession of Roger DUMEZ.
